Landscape Lighting

Low-voltage LED path, accent, wall and tree lighting that makes the property safe, welcoming and beautiful after dark.

Good landscape lighting is subtle. You notice the glow on the stone wall, the tree against the sky and the path that guides you to the door, not the fixtures. It makes a property safer, extends the use of patios and gives a house presence from the street.

We design and install low-voltage LED lighting systems: path lights, uplights on trees and walls, step lights, wall washes, spotlights and patio lights. We choose warm color temperatures, aim every fixture by hand at dusk and put the system on timers or smart controls.

Layers of light

Path lights guide, uplights give height, wall washes add depth and downlights from trees mimic moonlight. A combination of layers looks natural, and one type alone can look flat. We design by walking the property at night.

Low-voltage LED systems

A transformer steps household power down to twelve volts, and cable runs to fixtures. LEDs use little power, last for years and come in warm color temperatures. Quality fixtures in brass or copper outlast cheap plastic.

Controls and care

Timers, photocells and smart controls turn lights on at dusk and off at the hour you choose. Fixtures need an occasional check and aiming as plants grow. We provide a simple care guide.

Adjusting over time

As plants grow, light changes. We recommend a yearly check to aim fixtures, clean lenses and trim growth around lights. A simple visit keeps the effect looking as designed.

Questions

Landscape Lighting FAQ

How many lights do I need?

It depends on the property and the effect. Our lighting planner estimates fixtures and transformer size.

Are LED landscape lights bright enough?

Yes. LEDs provide plenty of light at low wattage and in warm tones.

Can lights be added after the landscape is done?

Yes, though planning conduit and wire runs during construction is easier and cleaner.

Can I control lights from my phone?

Many systems offer smart controls. We help you choose one.

Do LED lights save money?

Yes. LED systems use a small fraction of the power of older halogen and last for many years.
