Concrete pavers are manufactured units that lock together over a compacted stone base. They come in dozens of colors, textures and shapes, from crisp modern rectangles to soft tumbled stones. Because they are individual units, a damaged area can be lifted and reset without a trace.
The secret to a lasting paver surface is below the pavers. A deep, compacted base, edge restraints and properly filled joints keep the surface flat and tight for decades. We build the base for the use, with more depth for driveways than for patios.
